Adirondaks climbing and snowshoeing
A long weekend of ice climbing, snow shoe ascents in the High Peaks and options for x-country or downhill skiing before heading home.
Accommodations: tbd, however plan for the Keene Farm but may change to hotel/lodge if suitable location can be found for our group size - stay tuned.
Equipment
Must have snowshoes.
Ice climbing gear (if planning to ice climb)
Layered winter clothing capable of working in extreme cold and high winds when on high peaks summits.

Eagles Nest Ice Climb weekend
The 4th annual Eagles Nest Ice Climb with Sleepover option, is Feb. 7 and 8. Stay at the luxurious Imai-Compton cottage (10 mins. from Eagles Nest - it becomes an unofficial ACC 'hut' for the weekend)- $40 for dinner, breakfast and a warm place to sleep. Bring a sleeping bag, towel and your libations of choice.
