This course has been organized for the development of our trip leaders and priority will be given to those who are currently leading trips. Any spaces left over will be made available to other section members who are interested in becoming leaders for the club. Each application will be reviewed and approved by the section Leadership Committee.
Price includes instruction, textbook, course manual, SAM splint and a good basic first aid kit for all participants. Maximum 12 people. The cost of the course will be approximately $240. Trip leaders who take this course and lead 2 trips over the next year will receive a rebate of 40% of the course fee. This brings the cost of the course down to $144! Qualifying trips for the rebate can be anything from rock and ice climbing, hiking or Bon Echo custodians. (Sorry, pub nights don't count!)
