This long weekend ice climbing and winter mountaineering trip will focus on ice climbing and winter travel skills in the High Peaks mountain setting.

Saturday Rob will lead ice climbing on local crags in the Keene Valley area. Snow shoe options on Daks trails will also be available.

Sunday will be a long day with the objective of The Gothics via the North Face. This project has a lengthy approach followed by multi pitch moderate ice climbing and a long descent back to the trailhead. Rob will determine skill and experience level required to participate on this climb.
Alternately, there will be a snow shoe ascent of one of the High Peaks.

Monday will be more climbing with options for x-country or downhill skiing before heading home.

Accommodations: By popular demand we will be back at the Swiss Acres cottages and rooms in Lake Placid.
