One & Two-Point Anchors and Climbing at Mount Nemo
- With a special invitation to Crag Crux Climbers
One-point & two-point anchors seem to be relatively simple and easy to make. But I have learned that there are safer ways to make them in my last RSL course. And I would like to share this knowledge with you. On the last day of the course, a group of us climbed Roche A Perdrix. At one instant, a leader set up an one-point anchor to belay. It was safe for him. But when the second climber came up and clipped into the anchor, it created a situation that the anchor would be undone as soon as the leader would leave the station for the second climber to belay the third climber. Fortunately our lead instructor Cyril Shokoples immediately caught this and rectified the situation.
Maximum numbers of participants: 8 (can be increased depending on the number of leaders available)
