Seneca Rocks!
Join us for one last blast of summer at Seneca Rocks, West Virginia! Fantastic multi-pitch trad routes on positive holds.
Interested parties will be allowed to participate in this trip at the discretion of the trip coordinators. The coordinators expect that interested parties take initial organisational steps to form their own rope teams prior to expressing interest in going on this trip, so there are equal numbers of leaders and seconders. The coordinators will book accomodations (camping), provide knowledge of routes and approaches, and other organizational/logistical information to all participants. The nature of the climbing at Seneca is such that rope groups should be able to climb multi-pitch routes without the direct supervision of the coordinators.
Trip Classification “C” – This trip is suitable for outdoor climbers experienced in leading or following multi-pitch trad routes. Participants must have rope management skills, knowledge of trad anchors, route finding abilities, and experience with multi-pitch rappelling, exposure, and hanging belays."
