Backcountry skiers / ski touring

Any backcountry skiers/boarders in Toronto? I would like to practice some beacon searches over the summer and plan a late season trip to Quebec perhaps...and I am looking to book a hut in BC for a week in late season 2010. If interested, let me know! Steve
