Bancroft, Bow Lake - Sunday, January 10, 2009

Ice at the Eagle's Nest is continuing to build.
Rollercoaster - fine (still a little thin at the bottom)
Curtain was beginning to bulge out at its left end, Jetstream on right was in steep, dead-vertical form.
Ice in Jetstream variation area was very thin, but led by a couple of brave souls (not me) using a mix of stubbies and rock pro.
The top section of the North Face of the Eiger has started to fill in.
Dirty Harry has filled in almost to the bottom.
A party was on Ice Castle as well, but I didn't get a chance to ask them about conditions.
Also heard from a couple of friends that were over at Bow Lake that the main flow (Centre Ramp, Right Ramp) is in well.
The ice was brutally brittle in the morning at Bancroft, but with the slightly warmer weather that's coming, it should be in fine form for the first ACC Bancroft weekend this weekend.
