Rock Solid Leadership is a seven day course during which a number of hard and soft skills sessions related to leading club trips to rock climbing venues are presented. This is not a course about leadinh hard rock climbs but rather a course to introduce you to leading others on rock climbs in single, multi-pitch and alpine environments.

The intent of this camp is to provide an introduction to the Rockies to those who have never been to the mountains or perhaps need to refresh their skills or acquire their mountain legs before tackling more difficult objectives.

There was no ice on the tower. There was no ice anywhere. Where was winter? The temperature was ridiculously balmy, reaching 10° Celsius on the day we arrived. This didn't bode well. All south-facing routes would likely be unclimbable. We decided that we would go to check out the north-facing beer climbs.
