Ski touring and winter camping in Algonquin Park ( moved from Feb 27/28)
Early March is prime time for ski touring and camping in Algonquin. The snow is usually more consolidated and the days are longer. The trip will be a mellow loop with a focus on winter travel and camping skills. If the snow is good we can build a quincy or snow cave. Essential equipment is a good sleeping bag. Touring or Telemark skiis with heavier boots are best but x-country touring gear will do.
Experienced or novice are welcome. Call or email contact below for more info on equipment or details of the trip.

Bon Echo weekend - Ox Roast
Every year, climbers gather on the shore of Mazinaw Lake to get in some quality climbing, reflect on the wonderful season we've had, eat stuff cooked in a fire pit, and drink too much.
This year is no different. Hurray for tradition!
Cost is $40 for ACC Members (must have membership card!) and $60 for Non-members, $20 for under 16s.
The Ox Roast custodian is Geoff Hodgson, 416-305-9480.
As with all Bon Echo weekends, you *must* get in touch with the custodian if you plan to attend, in order to arrange boat pickup.
