Rock climbing

Join us for a day of trad and/or top-rope climbing at Buffalo Crag.

As usual helmets are required and the event is open to members and non-members (provided the requirements are met for first trips with the club, etc).
Also, please familiarize yourself with the standard club waiver (available as a pdf on the Club's national homepage) as all participants will be required to sign one before the day begins.

We'll be meeting in the lower parking lot...bring your lunch, snacks, and a supply of water as there's nothing available on site.

Bring shoes, harness, and mandatory helmet.

Everything you always wanted to know about Trad climbing but were afraid to ask!

Join female traditional climbing leaders for a hands-on day of climbing with gear. Learn the lingo, see how gear is placed, and understand the leader's expectations of a second. All experience levels are welcome. Challenge yourself in a supportive female environment.

Number of participants: 6 or 8 depending on number or leaders. All participants must be current members of the Alpine Club Toronto Section.

Multiple activities possible. Stay at Gary's place in Kolapore. Easy access to Old Baldy, Metcalfe, Bruce Trail.
