Early March is prime time for ski touring and camping in Algonquin. The snow is usually more consolidated and the days are longer. The trip will be a mellow loop with a focus on winter travel and camping skills. If the snow is good we can build a quincy or snow cave. Essential equipment is a good sleeping bag. Touring or Telemark skiis with heavier boots are best but x-country touring gear will do.
Experienced or novice are welcome. Call or email contact below for more info on equipment or details of the trip.
