Hello all, Event to be rescheduled

Unfortunately Margaret has to travel out of the country for work on Oct 1 and is unable to host this weekend on the planned dates. We will reschedule the Bancroft rock weekend into the spring so please stay tuned for the new date.

Come and enjoy the good granite and fall colours of the Eagle's Nest in Bancroft. A mix of sport and trad, single and multipitch provides lots of options. Bring your leading skills as the height of the cliff does not allow for top roping

Snow shoeing, skiing and ice climbing in the Daks

2008-02-18 00:00
Etc/GMT-5

The Adirondaks offer climbing, skiing and snowshoeing opportunities at all levels of difficulty. Plans will include one long day over one of the higher peaks, possibly including sections of moderate angle ice. A second day may be spent on local ice crags.

We hope to have enough participants for two groups, offering a choice of objectives. The "less ambitious" can choose a day of lift-serviced skiing at Whiteface while the "more ambitious" can choose a ten hour forced march mountaineering route with a headlamp return.
